Joanne Finnegan is a British-born painter living near Zurich. In 1993, she graduated from Demontfort University, UK, with a degree in Visual Art. In 2002, she completed an HNC in Multi-Media Web Design. In 2012, she became a member of the Guild of Swiss Mountain Painters association of artists.

 

Joanne Finnegan finds her inspiration in Swiss landscapes, while at the same time she is terrified of the heights. "As a painter, I cannot at this moment think of anything I would rather paint or study than the Swiss Alps, but since I am someone afraid of heights, maybe it’s because I love that fear".
