The focus of this exhibition is human transformation and the newly-formed character traits that result from it. Paintings, drawings, collages and sculptures from three different artists are contrasted here and placed in one thematic context.
While the Russian artist Polina Demidova intertwines collages and free hand drawings in a sensitive manner, reinterpreting icons of the media world, the Dutch artist Jim ter Kuile shows his perspective on the art of the 18th and 19th centuries and the classic portrait of nobility that resulted from it. Through a colorful distancing effect, the work of this artistic period becomes lucid, resulting in a new form of expression. With her sculptures, the Danish artist Liné Ringtved Thordarson presents human transformation delicately through emotions and passion.
