‘‘Weberismus’’ is a pictorial style invented by the Swiss artist Albert Weber, where abstraction, symbolism and pop elements merge. Through vivid colours and reinforced contrasts, Weber comments on political events, pop culture and history. Working with oil, acrylic, metal and diamonds, the artist creates unique and unconventional images.
Albert Weber graduated in 1977 from the School of Applied Arts in Zurich. His work has been shown in numerous museums and art galleries since then.
